As one of Germany’s oldest settlements, Cologne has a 2,000-year history and is located in the most accessible part of the Rhine Valley. During our tour, we will visit the iconic Dom Cathedral—famous for its towering spires—the Hohe Strasse shopping street, the pedestrian zone, and the Rhine River banks. Following the tour, we will transfer to our ship docked in Cologne. After settling into our cabins, the ship will depart at 17:00. We will enjoy a "Welcome Cocktail," followed by dinner on board. Overnight on board.
Day 2 | 12.12.2026 Saturday: MAINZ (RÜDESHEIM)
We will enjoy breakfast accompanied by the beauty of the Rhine River. We will arrive in Mainz, one of Germany’s best-preserved cities, around 11:00. Our guided walking tour of Mainz will take place before lunch. Mainz is a fascinating city where history can be felt around every corner, offering an open-air historical journey with its impressive structures, monuments, and museums. Today, the vibrant Altstadt (Old Town) district, especially the narrow and winding streets around Augustinerstraße, still preserves the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and the early modern period. Once the city's most important commercial street, it continues to captivate visitors with its historical texture today. The Augustinerkirche, with its magnificent Baroque façade that survived the war unscathed, rises elegantly between the houses, adding a unique silhouette to the city. This special city tour is a perfect opportunity to discover the different eras, cultural richness, and multifaceted character of Mainz.
After lunch on board, we will travel by private vehicle through the "Romantic Rhine," the most beautiful section of the Rhine River. We will enjoy views of the Lorelei Rock, castles, and lush vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see before arriving in Rüdesheim. Located in the heart of the Rhine River, at the southern entrance of the Lorelei Valley, this charming town is advanced in wine production and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Following a discovery tour with your guide, we highly recommend visiting Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet in the town center. Afterward, we suggest enjoying a "Rüdesheimer Coffee" on the famous Drosselgasse street. Returning to the ship after the tour, we will head out with your guide after dinner to explore the famous Mainz Christmas Market, known for its dazzling decorations, fragrant delicacies, and warm atmosphere—an ideal finale to experience the magic of winter. The ship will depart from the port at 22:00. Overnight on board.
Day 3 | 13.12.2026 Sunday: MANNHEIM (HEIDELBERG – SPEYER)
Following breakfast, we begin our day at 09:00 with a tour of Heidelberg, situated on the banks of the Neckar River, a city that has inspired philosophers for centuries. Upon arrival in Heidelberg, we will start our walking tour. Heidelberg University, located here, is the oldest in Germany and remains the country's most famous and prestigious educational institution. In this beautiful city divided by the Neckar River, our walking tour will include the Carl-Theodor Old Bridge, the historical church, and the 1.5 km long Hauptstrasse. The castle offers a picture-postcard view from the outside. Afterward, we will depart for Speyer. The charming city of Speyer on the Rhine River takes visitors on a journey through time with its 2,000-year history. As one of the most important stages of German history in the Middle Ages, this city still proudly carries the traces of that glorious past today.
The most impressive symbol of the city is undoubtedly the Speyer Imperial Cathedral, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Under protection since 1981, this massive Romanesque structure fascinates visitors as one of the largest of its kind in the world. Speyer's cultural treasures do not stop there; the Dreifaltigkeitskirche, once considered a "less attractive" example of architecture, is now accepted as an elegant synthesis of late Baroque art. As you stroll through the streets of the city, you will feel history, architecture, and culture intertwined at every corner. Speyer is set to be one of the most impressive stops on the Advent journey on the Rhine. Return to the ship after the tour. Overnight on board.
Day 4 | 14.12.2026 Monday: COLOGNE (BONN) – ISTANBUL

The Christmas markets established during this season add a special atmosphere to the city of Bonn.
